Bob Ross Commercial – Goodfood Parody starring Scott Watson as bob ross
Playing Bob Ross has always been one of my absolute acting dreams that finally became a reality with this latest commercial for Goodfood, Canada.
Watching Bob Ross create happy little trees since I was a kid on “The Joy of Painting,” I was always struck by how his frizzy mass of curly hair matched my own, and his ease with the brush always gave me confidence in my own artistic endeavors, even if they were just drawing my own pets as superheroes instead of painting lush winter landscapes.
The opportunity to stand in Bob Ross' mighty, curly-haired shadow for even a moment is an experience I will cherish forever.
Thanks for all the happy little memories, Bob. This one's for you.

Who Plays Bob Ross in the Goodfood Commercial?
Scott Watson plays Bob Ross in the popular Goodfood Canada commercial.
Scott Watson (the hardest working mustache in showbiz) is a Brooklyn-based actor, comedian, and content creator.
It was Scott's dream to play his hero Bob Ross in this commercial. And while Scott loves happy little sandwiches too much to match Bob Ross's skinny frame, his fatter Bob Ross performance comes with an even fatter heart.
Watch the Bob Ross parody commercial for Goodfood Canada above, and leave a happy little comment if Bob touched your life, too.
Or just post the image of Peter Griffin as Bob Ross instead, who will always be the fattest Bob Ross actor.
Maybe.
We'll see.
I need a sandwich.

Was Bob Ross in a Super Bowl Commercial?
Sadly, no. Scott Watson played Bob Ross in a commercial for Goodfood Canada, but not during the Super Bowl.
Would I love to play Bob Ross in another Goodfood commercial during the Super Bowl? Absolutely.
Unfortunately, Goodfood is based in Canada, a country that has never won a Super Bowl ring.
But Canada DOES have the Canadian Football League! And instead of the Super Bowl, they play for the...
Grey Cup.
Named after Earl Grey. Not the tea. An actual Earl.
Now, the Grey Cup is a perfectly respectable name, but it doesn't quite have the same punch as the SUPER BOWL.
Canada deserves something bigger.
THE SYRUP SHOWDOWN!
THE TIM HORTONS DRIVE-THRU LINE!
THE FREE HEALTHCARE CLASSIC!
Anyway, Goodfood, if you ever need a slightly larger Bob Ross for the Grey Cup, you know where to find me.
