A: Scott Watson stars as the woeful window washer in Zebra Insurance’s new commercial.
Q: Was the actor really hanging from the side of a building?
A: No! But Scott was rigged with a harness to the ceiling of the studio, lifting him ten feet off the ground and keeping him horizontal for the shoot.
If you’re ever wondered if it’s difficult to remember your lines and even speak when you’re dangling horizontally, it is!
Q: Was the background a green screen?
A: Zack Seckler, the director, is really smart and tech savvy so he was able to project the background you see in the commercial behind me in the actual space, so the camera and the actors have a better idea of what the final image will look like!
Q: Was this scott’s first experience with wire work?
A: He’s done some basic wire work in the theatre in the past, but this was the most extensive for a project! He’d love to do it again, but hopefully a little less completly horizontally next time.

Scott would like to thank his mustache, the hardest working mustache in show-business, his wonderful partner Amanda Lea Mason, my Rep Gina at DDO who is perhaps the greatest agent of all time and his senior chihuahua Peanut who only has one tooth and enjoys spending his time eating and farting into couch pillows.
